well eveything is agianst me so finding a hood will be harder than usally. I cant find nothing any more. its like stores know im coming and hide eveything from me.

I was going to. There is no sence in wasting gas. i just hope they are sure they have something before i drive to the store. like petsmart with the stuff i called and asked if they had.

Setting up this wetdry filter was REDICULOUS! I had the sump part overflow, and the tank overflowed haha, a beautiful waterfall of water onto my back. Luckily because of how wet I was getting during the filling stages, I had on a bathing suit. My life is full of these great shananigans!

lmao, i didn't even know how to get mine going until a week after i got it!! the good thing is i didn't need my swimming trunks.

I couldnt figure out how to get the siphon started, I kept puting the tube all the way into the tube and starting a siphon in the pin hole tube, then I decided to read the directions and noticed a key factor, "make sure to only insert vinyl tube halfway into bend of siphon tube." Very important piece of information.

yeah it's pretty tricky at first.....mine doesn't have a j tube, my overflow is all one piece with a little hole on the top, i have a one way valve on it, then i had to suck as hard as i could to get all the air out while drinking saltwater......lol.

Lol no, I accidentally spit some into the tank today like an idiot but it suprised me haha, afterwards I started spitting in the floor. Bucket is a great idea!

lately i've been using a medium size cup from burger king....lol.
it's a little easier to hold than a bucket.

That shouldn't kill then. Those guys should be kept under 82 but if the tank slowly went up to 82 there's no harm in it.
