updating my CO2 system to a 2 bottle system. I now have 60 watts of 6500k on tank with moon lights. YEAH! With an update CO2 system hopefully plants will survive.

FV, what size tank are you using?

I hate my dad, his Co2 system is the hawtness, I feel like a broke jerk when I see his compared to my 6 2l bottle system.

tested the waters, got the discus tank from an 8.4 to a 6.8 and regulated so I am happy there, new Co2 system works fanfreakintastic! all plumbing doesnt leak and timers worked right for the first time ever.

fighting fungus in my qt tank, albino gups came in loaded with fungus one small female died, male isnt looking hot while female is swimming around today with heat and salt.

Yes, it was an 8.4 friday night, yesterday installed the pressurized Co2, got it down to a 6.8 this morning, shut off Co2 went to a 7.4 immediately.

Ph is on a constant meter plumbed into the reactor inlet.

I suffer from insomnia so a day to me is usually 3-4 for the normal person. Youll notice very weird posting times for me.

But yes dropped it with just Co2.
my RO/DI unit is not here yet and that will be 7.0 so this is kinda trial and error time before that gets here and before the discus i am glad I can nail this pressurized Co2 down( whole lot easier to work with then DIY thats for sure)

lost both albino gup females today, cranked the heat about 4 degrees from this AM to now, will raise another 4 degrees tomorrow for the 88 degrees I am looking for. Looks to be bacterial but I saw a few fry with white spots so I am treating that entire tank too, last albino is in QT with heat and salt and cypress wood and some moss from TEF.com's leslie and OMG is this moss awesome, get some from her if you can guys she has great thick bright green java.

I hit the jackpot! Someone gave me a full set up 10 gal, Then for $50 I got a 55 gal, 20 gal and a 10 gal set up. This guys brother "stored them 2 years ago. 4 HOB Filters and 4 double air pump still wrapped in plastic in the boxes. So I'll be busy. Also in an hour picking up a rainbow shark that someone has in a 20 gal! Petssmart told her they are small community fish and can be kept in groups of 4. So it's free. Will be in a 20 I have running ammonias are lowering hope he'll be okay He will go in the 55 when it's set up. I hope I'm not over my head! :)

Well, have been bustin my tail! set up hospital tank (1o gal), DG in there. Received a RTS someone had to "get rid of" off Craigslist. Set up the 20 gal where I can watch it from the computer. HAHAHA, Had an algae bloom yesterday in 29 gal I've done water change (50%) and kept lights off. Today tank crystal clear and the plants are bright green and deep reds. Can't find ammonia anywhere to fishless cycle 20 gal. Any ideas appreciated. I've tryied Wal-mart, Food lion, K-mart, and 2 little MOM and POP joints. They all have additives.
