what are you doing today that is tank related?

Still trying to salvage my C220 foam inserts. Had them soaking in bleach with my Purigen for almost 24 hours now. Hopefully that got rid of the God awful smell.

 

did water changes and filter maint on all tanks.

 

Another night/day of no sleep..I'm losing track of what day it is..HELP! Haha.

The fish look soo sad and all keep looking at me with there buggy eyes, like to say "ma, how come you're not giving us our freshwater bath and frozen snack for being good and not pecking at ya?"

 

lol...too far of a drive, sorry. it's taking me most of the day to get mine done also...wife is at work (so she missed out on all the fun) and the boys aren't much help, every couple of minutes..."can we go outside now"? i changed 5g on the 10g, 40g on the 55g, and 90g on the 125g. so i'm pretty much all "tanked" out today...lol

 

I'm feeding my fish a new food... I normally stick to tetromin, but since I can't spend an entire pay check on fish (already past 100 on a few other things) I decided to give a cheaper food a try. wardley flakes =/ My fish seem to really love these. big flakes, fish swarmed one and ate it till nothing was left. The shrimp on the other hand didn't seem too thrilled with these.

 

Recieved 2 female bettas for Easter so redone 10 and 20 gal tanks for there new homes. Finished setting up 55 gal. It's all done an decorated heavely with plants. Today was mostly a busy day with all the tanks except for the 29 with the baby kribs which are growing bt leaps and bounds.

 

Broke the L. Per in half and replanted them since someone? was uprooting them while they were VERY long...tanks looking a bit empty.
Left half is completely planted...right only has some sparse crypts & bulbs towards the front.
Too open looking for me, but will have to do for now since I'm not really up to mucking with it.

tore down the discus tank, ich is visible, got them into a QT BB tank, took out all the plants, cleaned the gravel real well(4-5 45g flushes took 3 hours) got rid of the stupid pond snails that the plant seller swore up and down they didnt come from them(BS in my book but got a full refund somehow) set the 45t back up in the living room with just plants and assassin snails for now.

210...got the stand built, plans for UGJ system are done, new wet/dry was ordered.

ok, no worries, I am just interested in seeing them in others tanks not professional tanks, you know. Better IMO like this.

 

water change on the discus tank and the hospital tank. and dumped 30 dollars in media and set up the fluval 304 i got with my 37 tall. this thing is the ultimate filter.

 

Started rearranging the room to figure out where exactly to move the tank to. Put Purigen in the filter since I had to regenerate them all.

 

Hey, you didn't tell me you were regenerating media...I woulda sent you mine over (just put in new myself)

 

LoL Yep, regenerated 4 bags.

 

Tank Moving Day ! LoL Not looking forward to draining the tank and catching those fish though.

 

Move complete. Removed about 15 gallons of water leaving the fish in the tank and carried it to the new desk. "View My Tank LIVE" is up and running, at an odd angle though. LoL
