what are you doing today that is tank related?

I just fed my fish Blood Worms. They might as well be for the shrimp tho. Sink too fast for the fish to really enjoy.

 

Setting up a new tank. Small water change in the Oto tank. Making green water. Counting eggs. Busy time.

 

deciding where to put my DG seeing he has built a huge (4" x 6") bubble nest in the flosting plants and is protecting it like there's a female around attacking everyone who comes to close.

 

fed and scraped the 90g glass canopy to get the algae off...the siamese algae eaters and denison barbs were all over it before it had the chance to hit the water!

 

^^^ about to do that same to my 37 glass canopy. then the water change on that and my 10

 

no geeky fish thing here today.. did the geeky snake thing.. but thats for another forum (wink)
fed the fish/ fed the snakes/ fed the mastiff and now gonna feed myself.
also i havent been on here cause ive been real sick.. crazy stomach stuff..
anyway i hope all of you are well, congrats to those with new tanks and new fish.. i finally got rid of that carpethys..
and the leporinus... and now just have one ebjd left and two parrot cichlids and my aglae eater... need to do a complete water change and rearrange and get a couple new fish.. but not sure what.

hey check that out i did the snake thing too. fed her and cleaned the cage. darn 4 and a half foot cal. king snake eats and poos pretty much the same day if not the next.

 

awesome, i have two female ball pythons.. one is a pastel the other is a spider (we think shes more of a breeding experiment though cause her markings and colors are really weird) and i have a male lemon pastel...
fed them but never got around to the cage.. guess i will do that first thing tomorrow.
they are so easy to care for. I love them alot cause i can play with them too.. lol. i have to touch things.. otherwise its no fun.

 

Cleaning off leaves from the filter intake. I'm not sure where they all came from.

Think I'm going to try and put the filter intake in the center of the tank. I'm not happy with how it's filtering. It seems to be missing a lot of little particles and I keep adding stuff to clear up the water.

 

i have that issue too but mostly because my tank is planted with wisteria and water sprite which sheds like crazy

 

Finishing up dividing 2- 10 gal and a 20 gal for 8 bettas. I have a 10 gal NPT that would do the same thing. I put 2 airstones in the opposite side of the filter and water stays clear now. I do have to clean the intake every day or every other day though.

 

Removing a bunch of plants trying to clean up the tank a bit.

 

Plugged in my heater... Just realized when I moved the tank I never plugged it back in. Oops

 

just fed everyone lunch and am looking online to order some more food (supplies are running low).
