Frozen works too, but If you keep a 10 gallon full of feeder bug and what not, then the cost kinnda goes down some, lol.
I raised Fairy Shrimp with my Triops for live food. In the end, the Triops are al most all the fairies, but some lived long enough to make it into the breeding stage and I even had a pair make it to be bigger than the triops themselves... totaling at 2 inches, they were huge. They are a few water fleas and even some young Triops. It was amazing!

I don't do well with live foods (except brine shrimp)...childhood trauma of crickets escaping from there feeder tank and waking to them everywhere....EVERYWHERE... *shutters at the thought* :(

try sleeping in the small weed and mud made huts in Thailand. If you don't have a net youwill get bit by something. The spiders were huge and hairy. The snakes where all over the place. One morning I woke up with a 3 foot iguana snuggled up next to me. (I guess i was warm) The elephant would warn you if something big came in and the villagers would try to kill it for food (they ate alot of spiders)

Feeding my Black Bar tank some micro and Walter worms. They love them! lol
Tiger tank got kinnda cloudy since the filter broke a few days ago *sigh* Fixed it and modified the intake with a sponge filter.
40 gallon is also kinda fogy looking. But I added new plants and since I disturbed the gravel all the build-up got kicked up. Gotta remember that next time. Opened the filter to full throttle and I'm letting it take care of the rest. Skipping feeding today in that tank. Gotta watch it, I just hope the Scuds are gunna be ok.

rearranged plants in the 90g, cleaned the inside glass with the tom magical tool thingy, fed the 90g>10g>2.5g

*tomorrow with any luck will be partials, dependant upon how I'm feeling of course*

The 10g I'm pretty much just letting go wild..until the pc armoire comes in and I can get the 20L setup. Filter for it should be here friday..so really anxious to get it all done (darn slow wal-mart site to store).

I just had to eat a crab to get the shells to place into my tank. Oh the sacrifices I must make for the health of my -*burp*- fish.

Cleaning out the canister filter. Flow seems to have gone down a lot all of a sudden. I think it's all those leaves it sucked in.
