what are you doing today that is tank related?

backflush the hoses, this helps my situation out.

 

I think I'm going to replace them. They're yucky looking anyway. Lowes should have that size tubing.

 

probibaly alot of good bacteria in those hoses! LOL

 

what size do you use? 5/8 or 3/4" I know they have them in stock 10'-20' lengths I think

There is alot of good bacteria in those hoses but nothing compared to what is in the filter and in the tank itself.

My pressurized Co2 tank, I have plumbed into the return via reactor w/ rio pump, I get ALOT of build up in that tube, I repalce it every 2-3 weeks./

 

Well, I lost some baby shrimp and the only baby Tiger Endler I had b/c the tank filter eate them =( What makes small animals thing it's safe? XD

Well, I've gotta do 50% water changes in my ten gallon tanks.
The BB Endler's look about ready to make drops... This time from both females! =D

I use the fluval edge on my aqueon20's (fits great)
and Lustar Filter-Max III Prefilter on my xp4's

 

I normally have sponges at the end of the intake, but I lost one and replaced it with one I have to glue in place. I'm sadly outta glue till tomorrow.

 

They're 5/8" ID. The stuff inside the hoses were from when it was hooked on the 30Long. Nothing useful to me since it was sitting unused for over a month.

The tubing I picked up was too soft for the intake. The suction basically collapsed the hose. I put the new hose on the return and the old on the intake. I'll have to bleach the hose one section at a time and hope I don't ruin it in the process.

ordered a tub of nls flake, and a 140g of there growth for the 2 runts...plus of course some hikari shrimp food and some ocean nutrition shrimp wafers (can't forget the cute lil shrimpys).

 

Just finished cleaning the filter in the BB tank, it stopped running while I was doing the water change.... Snails clogged it all up. Now it's running, I can sit down and maybe tank a nap... =3

 

just finished taking down the 10g and 2.5g and setting up the 20L.

I'm trying to decide what to do with my extra males from the Tiger Tank... I mean, to Dawn, but other than that. By the end of It I'll want only one, since I've only got 2 females... =/

 

Hopefully getting these Angels out. Pete is back and I'll be calling him this afternoon when he gets in to see if he'll take the Angels and what he'll give me for them.
