Took out a bunch of plants. Think I'll be doing a tank redo tomorrow so I can vacuum the substrate really well.

Dosed the tank with Excel and Stability. Still thing to get an idea in my head on how I want to rearrange the tank.

Hopefully I'll be adding some fish to the tank this afternoon.

added lunars to the 20L, opened the tub of nls flakes (man were the discus happy), and packed away the e/r battery operated pumps since the power is stable now.

save your money get rid of the python, my redneck python has been in use for a year and still works like brand new, nothing cheap to break especially the fittings and hoses.

Need to do a large water change today. My tank has been cloudy and I can't figure out why.

overfeeding perhaps? thats the only time mine ever got cloudy, hence the reason I switched foods.

Nope. Since the Endlers have been there alone I only feed a very small amount of crushed NLS flake.

Got the 10 filled up and the Penguin 150 on it. Only problem is I don't have a light that fits the 10. Threw my extra L. Repens in there.

need a strip light? I got one that fits the 10g. I got a lighted plastic hood if you want that too with two 60w cfl's .

if not grab a clamp light or better yet a floor standing light that has that reading light off the side, I think they are called torch lights or something, you can have a tank light and nothing up top if you dont want.

    Im full of MacGyverism's.

It's on the lower part of the desk thing I'm using as an aquarium stand so a floor lamp won't work. I'm going to hold off on a light until I figured out exactly what I'm going to do with the tank. Need to go pick up an internal filter though. I can't take the sound of the HOB filters anymore, not in the bedroom anyway.
