Bought a Fluval U2 and put that in the 10 gallon. Not sure about the flow rate as of yet. Will post a review after I use it for a bit.

Hope that doesn't mean it sucks. LoL

Think I'm going to put carbon in the canister filter on the 20 and see if that helps clear the tank.

Just did a 75% water change on the 20. Hopefully that fixed the cloudiness issue and it doesn't return.

if it happens to be a bacterial bloom the continual water changes may be just feeding/fueling it.

Hopefully it's just anerobic pockets (dead spots/pockets filled with waste-excess food) and the siphoning will resolve it.

--Just finished feeding the Discus for the 2nd time today (they are soo loving the nls flake..piggys) & fed each section of the 20L

I did a little algae removal this morning. Next comes doing water changes and then I'm gunna remove the extra fish from the Tiger tank. Most of them are prolly going to Dawn.

Also doing a little pruning on the plants. I need some bits to send in the the mail so the fish and shrimp don't get car sick =P

It puzzles me because I vacuum EVERY time I do a water change. Granted I don't do the water changes as often as I used to but they normally get done at least once a week.

Getting ready to put some filter floss in the tray where my carbon currently is... Will remove the carbon today since the tank is clear due to the water change.

if you have room you might wanna leave the carbon in..at least until you have it clear for an entire week.

The carbon wasn't helping it at all. Had it in for over 12 hours and it was the same. Figured it wasn't doing anything but removing my Excel I've been dosing with.

o.o; does that mean it's broken, or the glass of your tank?

It was the Visi-Therm, not the Stealth version.

Just the glass on the heater broke.

Luckily I had a Stealth in the basement that I thought had blown but I was wrong, works perfectly fine.
