what are you doing today that is tank related?

evicted the tetras and angels and banjo cats and 4 SAE's from my 52g, they moved into the 210, they aint complaining.
Bought two new angels last night, red dorsals, platinum white bodies.

Tested the 210g this morning and all is well, had to euthanize one discus this morning, found him stuck to the intake of the AC30 HOB and to the sponge filter as well, was being pushed around the tank by the other healthier discus so I shut his metabolism down.

um
other then that not much else, going to the butchers for some beefheart/deer heart or turkey hearts.

 

Doing a 50% water change on my 20 gallon and dosing with Excel and Rainbow Code Trace Elements.

 

cleaning the fish cabinet and bins, gathering some old decor for sale/trade

just wondering, but why are you changing so much water? Are you still having problems with this tank?

 

Nope everything has been fine since the complete rinsing of the substrate. Generally I'm used to having a large amount of fish in the tank so 50% has become a normal water change amount for me. Plus it helps with the fry growth.

 

oh, okay. I was worried you were having issues with it again.
I need more cherry shrimp (the deep red ones)...hmm..where to get them from?
fed the discus again, there under protest-wanting there frozen bloodworms (which they'll get on wednesday when I goto the pet store). Lol

Added more plants. 2 bundles of Green Cabomba. Added some Excel.

 

did my partials a day earlier (stuff to do tomorrow), removed some leaves, went to the lfs and stocked up on frozen foods, blah blah blah.

I set up the 3 gallon for the odd ball fish. I expect a drop soon =3

 

I'm putting in a new power head in my 95 gal wave tank and some back round. added some community salt water fish yesterday and will post some pics soon .

installed new 100g holding tank, PWC on the discus QT, getting ready to drip acclimate the rams to the 210.

 

Not a whole lot. Droped my recently hatched Fariry Shrimp into the hybrids tank. I think she already gobbled them up.
