what are you doing today that is tank related?

Oh I did finally get my 2nd LED Panel to turn on. There's a problem with the starter inside of it. I put it in it's own outlet off the timer so it doesn't shut off. I moved it down to the 10 and covered it with a towel for the night so it didn't bother me when I was trying to sleep. I figured I'll do that until I buy the new T5 fixture. I know if I let that thing turn off it's not coming back on again.

 

I've sort of been neglecting my tanks just basic care water changes and such. Have company coming next week and trying to get the house painted and decorated before they get here. Today painting trim and grouting and caukinking bathtub. Tanks will have to wait.

feeding, took a quick vid of the bleeding heart tetras doing there ritual again (can see it in the 90g link in my sign.)

 

Had to do another 25% water change after the 50% I did. I accidentally added a double dose of Excel to the tank. Woops.

 

would it really hurt the tank (i mean the extra dose)?
just wondering.

 

The plants no, but the fish did seem to be affected by it which was when I realized I dosed it twice.

Feeding freeze-dried tubifex cubes agaain...

 

those things are weird. they stick to the side yet its just dry worms.... either way my discus love em.

 

feeding the 90g again, yep..they get as much as they want as long as they promise to grow nice and large for me. Haha!

3 males and one female. I swear, my friends are supposed to help keep my impulses down, not walk away and leave me in the tank section!
Either way, I now have some new fish to play around with. "Guppies", most seemed like Hybrid Endlers.
One I don't know WHAT he is, but he was so lovely I had to have him! I may start to cross him with my Tiger Females, see what interesting things I get. (Watch him be sterile)

 

mooched 11 bucks off my dad, gonna go to petstore later to buy silk betta plants for tank, friend's birthday party at two working on getting some cash together, saw a nice add for fish stuff on craig's list

 

fed both tanks, scraped the algae off the 1 canopy on the 90g (the fish loved it)!

 

Cleaned the gravel/filters/glass on my tanks and made a small water change C: My fishies are as active and happy as ever!

 

water changes and filter manitenance...moved the decor around and did a good gravel cleaning.

 

Just feeding everyone today and skipping dosing.
