that's a real bummer...sorry to hear that...if it were me i know that there would've been more than one "choice word" being said.

Felt a lil better earlier today (didn't last long though) and managed to do partials on the 90g & 20gL, also rinsed the prefilters/sponge filter, and scraped the inside of the glass clean with my tom tool.

I just cleaned my fish tank today, vacuumed gravel, cleaned the algae off the glass etc, and added my weekly chemicals.
I was planning on buying a new fish today.

from the diy's I've seen most do simple box frames?
But when I was thinking about going that route with the 90g, by the time I added up all the materials it was defin. cheaper to simply buy a stand (check your craigslist?)...but then again it was like $99 when I bought it at petsmart.
(no sawdust, no real cleanup besides breaking the box down and tossing the styrofoam inserts, no measuring, etc)

Gots this one (flat top allows just about any size tank to sit on it)--> <a class="postlink" href="http://www.petsmart.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2752311" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.petsmart.com/product/index.j ... Id=2752311</a>

Ps. if you have an "Ollies Outlet" nearby you can try them in their furniture dept. ... I know mine carries/carried wooden 29g ones that even had drawers for under $30.00

HAH, why would I go and do a foolish thing like that? I try to give big box as little money as possible.

I only need 6 2x4's and already have 3/4" plywood, 2x4's by me are $1.79-@2.30 per 8 feet.
I did change my mind, I am going to set up the 29g, rehome my RES to a private pond(owner of pond is coming to get her) use her 40g breeder for the fry grow out tank. So I need to make a double stand not a single tank stand.
I need to make my own, I build my stands to match the wall and baseboard/trim in the room its in. I am selling my 45H AGA classic oak ensemble because its oak.

why not use the 40g breeder for the fishys (could divide as need be - like I did with the 90g)...and then use the 29g for fry?
Just a thought. I wish I had the patience (and lack of wood allergies) to still be able to build things :(

Gotta post some picts when your done, a diy thread woud help others I'm sure!

Tank related, plotting when I'ma sucker the hubby into cleaning the 2 canisters that are due for their monthly cleaning :)
Been run down, so not feeling it and hate when it goes past their 30day cleaning regime
