20L:
removed the excess food (they barely eat when their nursing babies), rinsed out the prefilter, and zip tied the one sponge filter so It can create a bit of water movement (the sponge filter breaks the waves it creates).

90g Fry Section:
Pulled the fake plants, cleaned the inside glass, wiped the heater off, removed the plastic container of Red Eco-Complete Planted (stuff's nothing like the black!) and planted several plants directly in the sand (got nothing to lose), tossed 2 swordlet plants that weren't faring well.

90g Fish Section:
Took a few photos of a couple of the Discus that I might sell locally

Ran an ad on CL for the 10g since I really don't need it and don't have the room to keep it up and running!

I didn't. I lost mine in the move and had to just run to PetSmart to get one. It took me a good 30 minutes or so and by the time I got back she looks to have had a good amount in the main tank, which I cannot find. Maybe a couple are hiding. Hopefully she still has a few in her and will drop them in the breeder.

 

Just put the 5 Swordtail fry I managed to get from the mother into the Endler tank. There are a few in the main tank still but I couldn't catch them. At least I'm prepared for next time. [icon_neutral.gif]

 

90g> Cleaned substrate, wiped inner tank glass and outter tank glass, rearranged a bit, pulled the plastic plants to soak and probably sell, removed the few plants on the community side and put them over to the fry side, tossed the old terra cotta pots and added a few new ones, added a couple things (slate/pleco bricks/pleco logs/etc), rinsed the prefilters on the xp4's, and fed everyone.

20g> just feeding (babies are way too small to even try doing a partial yet) & wiped the inside/outside tank glass...planning on adding new aqueon filter cartridges later.

 

At least it's not hard to get them to breed?


Found out my new light fixture is defective, sending it back. Got the aquarium arranged in a way where I actually like it. If my plants live, it will be very pretty. Otherwise...I have an excuse to buy more plants!

 

3 BB PWC'S and gotta redo my red ear sliders tank, found all me shale in buckets in the shed.

Scrapping the algae off the glass, feeding and cleaned the filters this morning.

 

Renovated Shelly's tank. Gave her a waterfall and a shale basking area about 1/3rd the size of the 40B. She loves it but the fish are scared of her now, oh well she'll catch her dinner tonight

 

Setting up a meeting to look at a 35 gal tank tonight off craigslist.

Changed about half of the water in the 83 gal. Cleaned the front and side glasses and the internal filter

I FOUND AN 55 GALLON AQUARIUM AND STAND FOR A DOLLAR. If the guy still has it and I can get access to a truck or SUV or just a car with more room than mine, I might have just found the best deal ever.
