Got the new light and canopy in today. Everything is installed and fits perfect. The only problem with upgrading your lighting is you realize your tank is not as clean as you thought. [icon_e_surprised.gif]

    90g
cleaned inside/outside tank glass, vac. the sand really well, wiped the canopies, wiped the splash gaurd, cleaned the filters and added some chemi-pure elite to 1 of the xp4's to test out.

    20g
cleaned inside/outside tank glass, vac. the sand really well, wiped the canopies, wiped the splash gaurd, cleaned the filters and added mfr. cartridges to pull out the methylene blue. Previous batch the parents consumed (but I figured they would since they were getting fed irregular foods which they didn't seem to care for while fam. was caring for them for me)...no biggy because as soon as they consumed the batch they laid an even larger spawn which is now at the wriggling phase!
Ended up with teeny tiny paper thin strands of planaria from the overfeeding and wasted foods, hoping the back to back partials that basically ended up being like a 100% w/c will do the trick.

Tanks are officially ready for Santa! Lol!

Draining the new tank so I can move it into it's new location, where the 30 Long was. Hopefully I can move it with a little water so I don't have to take out the fish.

dosing tanks with PimaFix & MelaFix...
hoping that will help get rid of the micro planaria in the 20L and perk up the babies in the 90g (lost a few of my larger ones for unknown reasons...water is testing within it's normal parameters- did notice some jelly tube like clear poo from 2 or 3 of the babies but think that may be from some krill or other food fed a few days ago...to be on safe side put them strictly back on their decap frozen baby brine, artemia, and seachem flake).

Slowly adding Seachem Live Bearer salt to the new tank.

My Seachem Safe bottles didn't come with the "measure" spoon... I'm not sure how the bleep I'm supposed to measure one "measure" without their spoon.

Got all 6 tablespoons added to the tank. Everyone seems to be doing fine with the salt addition.

Did a 50ish% partial on the 90g, had the hubby rinse off the prefilters but he managed to break them..why are men so rough with things! and of course scraped the inside glass clean.

Note to self, try to do 20g later today... and feeding as always!

Ps. Posted a few new picts in the 90g thread.
Keep me posted, always good to know which products work and which one's don't.
Especially curious because of the pleco too.

Added water to the Endler tank in the garage. With it being so cold in there the water evaporates like crazy. Also added live bearer salt to their tank as well.

Also ended up adding some Fungus Cure and MelaFix. It seems like one male Swordtail has a bit of fungus on his tail. I just can't catch a break with these guys lately.

Trying to get the fishroom done before Christmas. All Tubing installed for the airlines and sponges. Out of 41 tanks only 2 will not have sponges and thats the 90 and the 240. Got my green dragon bristlenoses in yesterday and will take some pics as soon as my camera is out of the shop. Added cholla wood to a bunch of tanks, Lots of baby bns trying to move to growout tanks.
