    Did my 50% water change then dosed the tank with plant ferts.

    50% PWC for 40-gal angel tank and puffer tank. Increased salinity to SG 1.002 on the way to 1.005.

    Refilled 37-gal that had partially drained onto floor when canister filter outflow popped off the top at 3 a.m. for some unknown reason. The sound of water under pressure splashing on the floor woke me up. Good times.

    Removed all hornwort (with duckweed!) from 150 and rinsed out as much duckweed as possible, replaced hornwort floating in corner. Removed some valisneria that was spreading too far and moved Aponogeton further back as it has grown to surface of tank now. Want to replace wisteria with something less "messy" looking. Not sure what.

    removing the last of the corpses (1 left) and feeding the tanks.
    Checked on the bristlebabies (who still have their yolk sac) and see dad is still in there with them :)

    did a whopping 90% wc on the 20 gall, to move it back into my room, i'm sure the tank is going to go through another cycle again, moved the 46 gall up to my room

    turned heater down a tad cuz it got hot here, reorganized some plants and destroyed 2 mystery snails....

    beacuse i started out with 1........from who knows where........then there were 4............i killed the 4, and now there are 2 that I can see, i dont mind one, but i wont take the risk of 4 million, i saw a lady at petsmart the other day that plucked one out of her tank and brought it in to show them, it looked just like them, same size/color/shape, and she used 2 whole bottles of snail kill and it did nothing to them, so she was buying 2 twenty dollar fish that were "guaranteed" to eat the snails within 2 weeks or her money back by the fish guy at petsmart, so i wonder what happened cuz that was about 3 weeks ago......if I were to keep a snail, id get one really big one

    Rinsed out both canister filters for 37-gallon angel breeding tank, netted angel fry out of one of the filters (about 25 got in there!) and returned them to Ma and Pa.

    I put AC sponges over filter intakes a while back but these must have gotten sucked into filter before that time when I thought the fry were not moving around the tank. WRONG! They must have been developing right along because they seem about the same size as the rest of the fry.

    Note to self: Keep filter intake sponges on this tank!

    Feeding the fish. Now I'm watching them swim around. Contemplating whether or not to get another fish in there (mom's thinking barbs, I'm thinking either a betta or some mollies). Definately want some more plants.........hmmm....decisions, decisions.

    Did water changes in all 3 tanks... noticed I lost a cherry shrimp.. removed her and then nnoticed that I had one of my babies that is now berried!! She is really pale so I should be able to really watch the babies develop.

    I need to pass on some of these things!!! Cherry shrimp anyone??
