snapped some photos of the tank (see signature link to 90g), put the prefilter on the new ac110 and got it running with some carbon and the ceramic rings in addition to the coarse sponge. Tanks appearing yellow? not too concerned though since I figure once I get the other xp4 & uv up it should take care of it.

Taking the 30Long out to storage. Tried to sell it but it seems I cannot find anyone interested.

Water change on the Swordtail tank and I need to clean out the canister filter.

Doing water changes, messing around with lighting, and contemplating what I want to do with my empty 29gal tank.

Got the pvc for the powerheads for the stream tanks. powerheads on one side sponges on the other. Just need to get some sand and decide on a back and then it's time to get stock.

You soo have to share updated photos of all your tanks ursi,
I know I'd love to see them!

<---today my order should come in with the xp4 filter tubing and attachments (YaY)
Plan on doing a 50% partial on the 90g BEFORE I setup/turn on the other filter too.

According to the news we're supposed to be getting hit with an ice storm on Tuesday, but I'm hoping maybe later today the roads will still be clear and I can get out and grab some stuff for the 20L so I can get that tank back up and running.
Then I'll be left with simply stocking it with who knows what.

This weekend I did water changes, rearranged plants/decor (with a little help from Jack Dempsey, ha ha), and installed a new aerator on the two larger tanks. I had to run tubing up and around the door frame molding as the two tanks sit on either side of a doorway. It looks kind of funny, but it's worth it to only have to use the one pump for both tanks.

My friend who gave me the Demasoni gave me about 30lbs of left over cichlid sand that he wasn't going to use. Trying to figure out if I want to add it to the existing sand in the 90gal or put it in my 29gal and start a small Tanganyika tank..... decisions decisions... lol

Nice, free sand...wish I could score some for the 20. haha!

    1. Simply sliding the center driftwood a bit over to the right since the spraybar (even though aimed at back) is still managing to blow the sand away from a section of the back right wall.

    2. Slid the small'ish piece of driftwood with who knows what plant growing off it on it's side to form a perimeter around the swords that are heavily planted on the right. Looking good! And the loaches love the hiding it provides.

    3. leveling the sand out a bit now that the flow has been deferred over the large centerpiece driftwood.

    4. Waiting for a call to say my hans discus have arrived!

Im going to be getting some UV lights for all my tanks from mark soon. I am now on a parinox(fishfarmacy) treatment and seeing how that goes, instant results were a 4" drop from the surface so thats OK by me.
Funny thing is these are the parents in a parent raised fry tank, all fry are in there and doing well. some are hovering next to the powerhead but for the most part they are doing fine.
