I feel ya, when I bought the 90g Current Usa Sundial T5HO Total control light fixture that set me back over $300...BUT I absolutely love it and have lots of options with the 4 bulbs and two built in timers.

Ya gotta post a picture of the tank once you get the light on, curious to see how much light that baby throws out ;)

working on stocking the 20L for the kiddo (online) since none of the lfs in the area seem to carry freshwater inverts.

    {*} Partial on the 90g
{*}added 2 water bottle diy caves thinking the baby bristlenoses might like them (water bottle cut in half and a little notch cut out in front for a doorway)
{*}dosed the tank with the care package rather than letting it go to waste
{*}rinsed off the prefilter on the 20gL

Last night I added 3 new fish to my african tank. Burundi Frontosa, German Red Peacock, and a Haplochromis sp 44 aka Zebra Obliquidens "thick skin".

Today I am going to do a couple water changes and that is all.

I "rescued" some neon tetras today through craigslist. Almost 15 free fish from craigslist in the past couple weeks. Id rather give them a home than let somebody flush em down the drain.

Made up a new hose attachment to hook up the water hose to the shower to fill the tanks. Did waterchange and filter maintenance on the 150g.

did waterchange on the 55g & 10g. also noticed that one of the red zebras may be holding, kind of shocking seeing it's only about 2 -2 1/2in.

Realized that the cheap 55 gallon setup I got for cheap is going to be more of a hassle than I thought.

Sold 10 clown loaches, and a pair of Nics that were housed in a 90g, then tore down the tank, removed 4 5g pails of gravel, replaced with 3 20lb bags of eco complete sand, added a pair of Challichromis Popelini, and a pair of Lepidiolamprologus Nkambe.... all in under 3 hours, everyone so far looking happy.

replanning the 20 gallon, water change in the...whatever size the new one is. It's either a 46 or 50 I think. The previous owner said 50, but it looks a lot like the 46 over at Petco...

So I just got home from work about an half hour ago and I'm sitting in the entertainment room talking and suddenly I hear a strange water sound from my tank. I get up and go listen and what starts to happen. MY TANK IS LEAKING FROM THE BOTTOM AGAIN, JUST AS IT DID BEFORE I HAD IT REPLACED !

    Tank drain in progress ! !@#$ !@#$ !@#$ !@#$

    My sympathies. :(

Discovered the Mopani wood I was soaking had mold on it and the bleach I'd added before wasn't helping. Water change, checking on the Serpae Tetra in poor shape. Counted the air pumps I got with the 46 gallon tank and realized I could run up to 5 tanks with sponge filters. I'm afraid MTS has set in.
