Removed all my fish and plants this morning then took the broken tank back to the pet store. The manager ordered a Perfecto tank for me this time and said it should be in on Wed.

Man, that bites Anthony. Really sorry to hear!
Did you end up selling off those other tanks you had, or is that what your using in the meantime?

<--trying to refrain from ordering some "fishy" stuff that I need in (media, media bags, etc) until wednesday so I can get double points at bigals while using my bigcrumb click through in addition to being able to take advantage of the free ship over $75 (I like to buy my media bulk when feasible).

Also, just ordered some foods for the kiddos shrimpys. (Mosura Gravidas & Mosura Crs).

Nope, still have the other tanks. Was never able to find a buyer. I didn't want to set up the tank just to have to take it down again in a few days so they're chilling out in a bucket for now.

    Oh, okay.
I can't believe you ended up with 2 leakers (thank goodness I haven't run into that issue yet).

What was the other one that was a leaker (brand wise)?

did waterchanges on the 10g & 55g so far, might get to the 150g latter today or tomorrow. one of the filters (aqueon 55) on the 55g wasn't working right so i took it out and did a good cleanning. found it to have alot of gunk in it, wiped it down and cleaned the impeller real good, works like new. also discovered fry in the 55g while cleanning it, found about 6 - 8 of them under some decor. the mother is a red zebra (really surprised me see how she's only 2 inches herself) and the father will be determined latter when the fry gets some size and color to them. the fry is very very tinny, i don't think they are a 1/4 inch.

Bought a piece of fake driftwood that's hollow hoping my bristlenose plecos will breed.

Need to drain the tank some and throw my fake plants back in since most of mine died. The only thing that really survived was my Anubis Nana which I have quite a bit of. I ended up putting it in the center of the tank (it's attached to driftwood) and it actually made a nice little center piece.

    Just a fyi:
I use ken's fish pleco logs for breeding them (they love them, I think it has to do with the narrowing end).
Also "prime" the breeding duo with high quality food (ex. algae wafers, zuch, cucumber).

quitting for the night, but earlier I
{*}pulled all the decor and cleaned it
{*}pulled both filters and cleaned them as well and found one of the xp4's to have a cracked "Quick Disconnect"...ordered a replacement.
{*}pulled all the sand, probably just going to grab 1-2 new bags being I grabbed Tetra SafeStart for when I get everything back up and already have a filter sponge seeded.
{*}ran to the lfs and got new light fixture bulbs (wanna experiement with bulbs..grabbed AquaticLife roseates & actinics)
{*}grabbed this bamboo stump looking decor at petco on clearance for $4.98 (too bad they only had 1), and this little tiki looking dude that I thought was cute on clearance for $7.48
{*}had the lfs pricematch a emperor 400 for $36.39 and will be submitting my rebate form for $10 back...might use it on the tank, but then again might simply store it for a back up. Regardless, couldn't beat the price & the rebate was a bonus!
{*}Grabbed some suction cup airline holders on clearance at Petco for a $1.00
