tomorrow will be my partial day, with home-like schooling that started today I definately am not feeling up to much of anything this evening.

Hey Anthony, any chance you wanna come and do mine with yours...being your gathering energy anyways I'd surely hate to see you waste any excess of it. Haha!

Also increasing my tank temp back up to 84. These swordtails take way too long to drop fry at 74.

I am debating whether to do water changes today or wait. I think I will wait. Hoping to find more rocks for my tanks tomorrow when we take the dogs to the park to play in the water and walk in the woods! I got a 125 gal from a neighbor a few weeks ago, and need to build more caves :) Waiting for the Mail man to Deliver my NLS, my one tank hasnt been to happy they are eating the HBH cichlid attack that another tank likes. Hoping to add some Bristlenose this weekend to my finned Family. "happy dance"

got the 20g set up back the other day from my sister-in-law, it's was in really rough shape. filled the tank up water and some bleach and let it soak for a couple of days, also broke down the filter(a/c 30) and soaked it in water w/bleach. spent a couple of hours this evening cleanning every thing up, had to use a Razor blade to get all the crud off the inside of the tank. the filter cleaned up really good and to my surprise it still works. the light fixture is shot so got to get a new one.

our red zebra released some fry today, counted about 12.

    water changes and filter maintenance.
went shopping today for stuff for the 20g, got some new filter media, bubble stone, tri-colored gravel (dark blue - lighter blue - turquoise), paint for the back of the tank (navy blue). wanted to get a new light fixture but it's got to wait a week or two.
put the new media in the 150g to "seed". got the back of the tank painted and set it up on the stand and leveled it up. rinsed the gravel and put it in the tank along with the bubble stone and some decor. my wife picked out the gravel and color of paint and i was very sketchy about the color combonations but now that it's set up, it looks really good. filled it up with water and going to run the filter and heater to make sure that there going to work all right before we put fish in it (like i said in an earlier post, we got this set up back in really rough shape).

Helped a friend do a water change and fed all the fish in a 3000 gallon system. The system was down for 6 days with out power due to the hurricane.

we went to Aquarium Adventure (Columbus, Ohio) yesterday to just "look around" (they have awesome display tanks and a great selection of fresh/saltwater fish too). well, we ended up getting a couple of new fish....synodontis jaguar catfish, really neat looking little buggers. got them acclimated and put them in quarantine.
checked on the red zebra fry, they're doing really good. tried to get an accurate count, but they are so small (1/8 - 3/16 in) and won't stay still long enough, counted about 10 to 12.

Burst of energy, which is now gone..haha!
Partial on the 90g, and had to swap media in the xp4's as the aquaclear media bags broke inside the filter.

Partial on the 20gL and freed some shrimp that managed to get past the prefilter (it fit snuggly at first, now it's a bit loose towards the top and that's where they gotta be getting through).

Got a 10g quarantine/hosp tank running for 1 discus that kept getting bullied. It's only been in there for a couple days being dosed with some melafix I had laying around and it's already looking MUCH better. Partial'ed that tank too being it just has a heater and airstone & re-dosed with vita-chem and melafix.

    no signs of bloat?

<<<feeding some blanched lettuce to the 20gL, took down the 10g quarantine/holding tank because the discus is completely recovered--YAY!, and found the female betta exploring the 90g a bit today ;)

Angels arrived, days late. Scheduled delivery was on the 9th and they didn't get here till today. I expected to open a box filled with 13 dead fish. Luckily no DOA's.

no physical signs of any kind. only thing that i could come up with was that it must've just been weak.
