probably poor quality stock, I have a lfs nearby that I've gotten bad african butterfly fish, plecos and corydoras from in the past. They are pretty much hit/miss...but the main fish store in the area.

Hopefully everything else in the tank is doing well and this was just one of those things.

Did a nice large water change today. Angels are looking much better than yesterday when they arrived.

partial on the 20gL, trimmed back the plants while I was at it too.
major partial on the 90g, got everything bleached and back in the tank (brush algae)...except the driftwood- it's still soaking.

Water change again today. Trying to keep up on them now that the Angels are in the tank and I'm feeding 2-3 times a day.

Added my single piece of mounted driftwood as I think I'll keep the big Double mounted one out for now...and a small piece which I stapled some excess java moss out of the 20gL.

Learned of plants that were ordered for me, so snapping a shot of the tank and figuring out placement for when they arrive (told it should be sometime early next week).

Pre-planning (well at least trying to) the breakdown of tanks and removal of furniture for future painting of the inside of my house in addition to recarpeting...gosh I really hope it won't be any time REALLY soon as that'll be a major undertaking. *heads throbbing at just the thought of it*

I'm doing water and filter changes. The normal stuff. I'm trying to figure out new decor. My tank is boring and understocked. You would think these would be easy decisions but its not. Does anybody else have a hard time deciding?

You don't even wanna know how many times I've rearranged stuff. LoL!

I'm simply feeding, pulling snails from the 20g and "gifting" them to the lone clown loach in the 90g *Evil Grin*

Planting the aquarium plants that arrived just a bit ago...they look great (aquariumplants.com).
    and
Realizing that I'm gonna have to put down my brillant turquoise discus due to hole in the head...I tried medicating which seemed to keep it at bay, but as of yesterday I noticed a small patch almost at the eye socket...and today it's doubled to tripled in size. Why is it always the pretty ones *sad*

Water change and some new plants that I am very excited about. I'm more excited about the store where they came from.

water changes and filter maintenance. bought a new heater for the 20g, tetra 100 watt subersible, didn't care much for the old heater (elite), it's like the one we had on a fry tank that malfuntioned and "cooked" 32 fry. the air pump on our 55g (elite 802 - dual port) wasn't pumping much air out one of the ports so i got a repair kit and fixed it, works like new.
