It's a high efficiency water filter.

Yes, they will be fine assuming the puffer won't eat them.

As long as it's not a single T5 bulb is should be fine.

So i officially have my tank, my parents got me it for my birthday, my only thing is i wish they would have let me come with them to find them like i had originally said. It's a 47 Tall. Is there equipment and the T5 bulbs that i could find to fit the small width of the tank as it's tall and not wide. *I also hope my puffer doesn't outgrow it cause it's taller.

You shouldn't have any trouble finding equipment to fit the tank.

Ok and assuming that my puffer won't eat the rock how much can go in the tank. And also there isint a very big bottom and I will also have to leave some space for my puffer at the bottom of the tank since he sleeps in the sand

A good 2-3lbs per gallon of water is recommended. Live rock also helps filter your water.

alright so i'm having a little toruble measuring the tank's dimensions. The width of the lighting fixture is 18 1/2 inches. the width of the side of the tank is 18 and the front is 20 and length is 31 so would that make it 18 x 20 x 31. And i would try to find a lighting fixture for 18 1/2 inches

With the tank being as tall as it is you'll have a hard time getting a good amount of light to the bottom of the tank where your live rock will be. Ideally you should get Metal Halides but those are expensive. T5's will be your only other option and hopefully they provide enough light for the live rock.

i'll look into the Metal Halides, especially since i will be taking time on my tank so i will have the time to pay off my C.C. if i get them online.

The legs are adjustable on those so as long as it's at least the width of your tank it will fit.

and would you suggest the 150W or the 250W, my parent's are going to kill me if they find out how much the lighting is going to cost. Hopefully this will be the most expensive thing that i will have to buy
