If you do a fishless cycle exactly as the directions suggest, you can have the Black Clowns.

Anthony, Do you have the directions for a fishless cycle? If you could write it up for us it would be greatly appreciated.

You should never put Damsels with Clowns especially in a 10 gallon which is not recommended for saltwater. Damsels are very aggressive and under the stress of a small space they will surely become territorial and take out the slow moving Clowns.

I have as well. My clown was larger than the damsels though.

I also wouldn't suggest clowns with damsels. Maybe you got away with it but you were lucky and most people aren't so fortunate. They come from the same family and usually the damsels end up tormenting the clowns.

I think if you have enough space and rock work it will work out.
