4 inches? That is huge for Ottos! They are only 2" as adults? Is this another variety?

I was in a hurry typing that. I had just stopped home to float the bag then head back out to Best Buy.

 

Well, tomorrow I pick up my shoal of Cardinal Tetras. I just traded the LFS all my Angels (a bit less than 20) for 20 Cardinal Tetras! Nice even swap. I have to buy a few in cash, but they traded 1 fish for 1 fish.

Kind of neat to know that people will be walking by and looking at my babies in the store!

Plus I have 20 Cardinal Tetras finally!

 

Where are you going to put those guys ?

 

With my Discus in the 125 planted!

Oh, these are going to be replacing my 4 remaining Glo-Lite Tetras. I have a home ready for them too! My neighbor has quite the community tank in a 55 with a bunch of swords, mollies, platys etc... so they have wanted a few tetras in their tank.

 

They are in!!! 20 REALLY good looking Cardinal Tetras! They are a bit stressed still so not all are showing their full color but when I got them they were still in the bag that the pet store got from shipping. When I got them the color was just a bit dull but they had color which is really good for Cardinals

This is not all of them of course as they kind of are still finding their way around the tank...

 

They are really nice looking ! Where are the other 9 ? LoL

 

In another group.... they kind have split into 2 groups.... well from time to time it seems. I have seen them all together and then 1 lead fish goes one way and another wanders off and some follow 1 and the others follow the other one.

 

To my surprise when I ran to the pet store to get a few plants and a piece of driftwood they had a few Otto Cats, slightly larger than the ones I got yesterday. I was unable to catch the little guys this morning to bring down to VA but I did get the larger one. So anyway, I got 2 Amazon Swords, a Banana Plant, Driftwood, and 3 additional Otto Cats.

 

Ahh, so you brought your endler tank back with you?

 

Half of it. I tried to split them evenly so half are here now and the other half in VT.

 

Today i got two more celestial danios, and two endlers (male and female) to go in with my celestials.

 

I just added two versa tops to my 75 gallon tank, and a new light bulb on my planted tank (replaced the 10K/actinic with a 6700/10k pc bulb) and the result was amazing!

 

added three carpintis to my grow out tank, they are about 1.5"

 

Added some new plants.chain ,ozelot,oriental swords ,spiralis,ciliata cripts.

 

I didnt really add anything but i found a small group of snails under one of my plants
