    Flourish Excel, a small patch of green spot algae on the back wall, a half mauled guppy (not a clue who's to blame), a pre-filter on the xp4, some great decor and breeding logs/caves from kens!

    3 cherry shrimp, 4 endlers, 6 neon tetras, Java moss, and some other moss I forgot the name of (a lot like java)
    Today was fun =).

    They are cool, got great colors. I want to get a black background for the tank now, Im sure it would bring out the colors even more.

    Black backgrounds are perfect for fish like neons and cardinals!

    Do I just buy one of the stick on ones at a store? I havnt seen any just black, only ones with river rocks in the back and ocean themes.

    I painted mine.... there are some stores that have it black on one side and blue on the other... you have to look hard for that!

    If you dont mind me asking, what did you paint it on and how did u stick it up(anyway to save money is always good =p)

    I painted right on the tank with I think Flat Black Latex and brushed about 5 thin coats on it.

    well its really not in the tank, but its a sponge/green pad so i can clean the algea off the walls. not sure it is even safe. anyone wanna tell if it is or not?

    I would think the green pad could scratch the glass :confused:

    Haven't added them yet but they're drop acclimating now... 4 Otto Cats and 4 Habrosus Cory Cats.

    Oh, and a little Tetra Algae Control. :eek: I know I know.

    Will do. I'm testing it out because about 5 days after my water change the water begins to get a little greenish as well as the substrate. I wanted to test it out while I'm trying to get my plant nutrients balanced.

    Approx. 25 N. Caudopunctatus fry. These parents are the best I've seen !!
