    PLECO BREEDING LOGS:

These spawning logs are 9 inches long with a 2 inch opening on one end that tapers to 1 inch on the closed end. Excellent design to spawn Plecos and best of all it looks real!

Your welcome! I have them stacked...1 dad prefers taking his "date" to the lowest one..and the other dad I have prefers the log nearest the top.

Today, I have 3 cherry shrimp and cory cat of some kind new to my tank. 2 of the shrimp are so small that it takes me what seems like forever to spot them.

if that's all that's in there the shrimp will breed quickly (word of advice: prefilter sponge for intakes)

well, the shrimp are all doing fine (ghost included in betta tank) but...this morning, I woke up, and my male Betta "Death Star" was perfectly fine. I go outside to change a tire on my trailer, which took about 15 minutes, and I come back in to check on all the tanks, and my betta is barely moving, breathing heavy, and just kinda floating around. He died 20 minutes later.... :( what could of caused this? The ghost shrimp is still alive, so I doubt it was water?

ghost shrimp can/will live in anything!
fast spike in water temp (depletes oxygen)
Ammonia...you'd have to give water parameters and I suggest sticking it in the illness section for the most help.
    sorry for your loss :(

Yea, he was the coolest lookin little guy. I think it may have to do with where I got him from also. I know a few people who bought a Betta from the same PetCo that I bought him from, and the very same thing happened to theirs, random death...the bettas at that store are not very well taken care of. I will not buy a fish from Petco again, the PetSmart in my area has a very knowledgeable staff (albeit a bit rude at times) and they take great care of their fish.
