lol,I'm not sure to be honest. There was a hole in the bag and I was kinnda rushed with them.

I've gotta set up a new tank now =P Since the one girl is def a hybrid I don't wanna risk polluting my pure stock. She is very lovely tho ^^

The hornwart looks dead... And I had "pond" snail eggs in the other plant bag. Ramshorn snails lay a solid mat of eggs, pond snails lay a blob.

dont be upset about snails unless they claim them to be snail free. I got a package off ebay and the business claimed snail free, lets just say I got to keep the plants and my money back since I had to nuke the tank to get rid of them. Came in as eggs......

Its hard to find quality anymore, err honesty.

I'm not bothered by them, just saying that she prolly doesn't have Rams if I found pond eggs =P

    Nope, thats for sure.

algaecontrol from tetra brands works wonders with pond snails, but it kills some plants too, like java moss, oh that makes a mess when it melts lol its kinda like dried up silly string.

loaches or assassins, but they breed faster then assassins can keep up with I noticed.

or you can fart into a funnel connected to a tube and methane them to death lol.

I nuked the tank, took out the plants, soaked them in alum for a week and they disappeared, but I did get some on some java moss I got not to long ago in a 10g tank I set up to QT plants in there are pond snails everywhere, been selling them to a buddy with a few puffers in his brackish tank.

pond snails you say? hum..., but all I've ever seen in this tank are red ramshorns that I received for free with a order placed elsewhere? are pond snails red and umm..sorta flat round shaped shell wise?

ps. regardless if it was your usps or not, after seeing that box that will be the last of my money they are receiving (and I do quite a bit of shipping too). I'm still mad that Anthony's took the extra days to get to him too (but his box arrived fine).

pond snails aint flat, they are like superhero snails really, i see em swim, take flight to move around the tank, then they throttle up and slide across a 24" piece of glass in less then 3 seconds, yeah pond snails are aliens.

Ramshorns are neat but I still prefer my MTS.

I did notice a new addition to my tank, my be something from your tank? It was a flat worm, with a visiable looking set of either kidneys or egg sacks. Sadly, before I could save it, the fish took notice that I was looking at it and ate it up. Quite a site really!
    Any ideas?

i think this is funny, I got some lesser duckweed from a lady in oregon, she swore that it was a plant only tank, yet being a plant wrapped in newspaper moistened was enouh for two fry of some fish to survive 4 days in the mail. they did die but that was a funny day i flipped out on the lady and from what she thinks they were dropped by a bird or somethin there I dont know.

    lol! oops!
Well, I'm making the final preparations for the Hybrid Fry. Since the tank doesn't have any gravel in it I'm still working on filtration. I'll prolly go get some sponge Filters and figure them out. Other than that, Watching the Triops grow and eat each other in there tank. It's an odd thing to know that I can supply all the food I want, but in the end they would rather snack on there smaller sisters...

Well...it's been about a month, and the baby cory's doing great. He/she/it's even grew some. Went to clean the tank and thin out my wisteria plants yesterday. That evening, my mom's looking at the "yard work" I did in the tank...when we find a second baby cory! Did a tail count--the 2 females, the male, junior, and a little tiny one again. And now, this morning, I found more cory eggs.
