When is it safe to move the fry to their own tank..

    The fry are all free swimming. Along with feeding on there own. When can i move them to their own tank?

    I let mine stay with the parents for the first two weeks.
    What kind of cichlids? mine are angels.

    id say after 2 weeks however JD's are phenomenal parents and heck leaving them in there wont matter much, especially if they are in their own tank.

    I saw some JD fry yesterday and was gonna do it but I dont have any tanks set up for that aggression.
    Awesome fish though and the EBJD's are one of my favorites
