New Banjo Catfish

    Hey James, I just picked up a banjo today for $5.00. I put him in the tank and he floated to the bottom "dead" then as soon as I stepped back a little he burrowed into the sand! Haha.

    I am thankful for your responses because the girl at the LFS told me I shouldn't get one

    Hey tim....what banjo did you get? Mine is solid black. Pretty kewl as his eyes look like little glass marbles. I was going to get a banded but they didn't look as well. I'll snap a pic tomorrow. Just curious.

    Mine is about 3 inches and is brown with black stripes. I've only seen his fin sticking out of the sand since I put him in, now he is completely hidden somewhere.

    Here's my guy. I just cleaned up the tank and stirred things up so he is out and about for a few. Took the opp to snap a pic.

    Some of his smaller tank mates include cherrie barbs, white clouds, endlers and two oto's.
