I purchased a bag of this at Oddballs Pets for $29.99 for a 7kg bag, this was an impulse buy as the kiddo was anxious to get his shrimp tank up and running so to speak and I had store credit so gave in which was a HUGE mistake.<br />

He has an insane setup at his house for the fish, and is very knowledgeable about freshwater fish, especially SA and CA cichlids. They had a decent amount of Cichlids, Africans and some SAs. Their &quot;peaceful&quot; fish selection was limited to some platies, tetras and a couple others. Nothing impressive by any means.<br />

Down where their &quot;Water garden&quot; area was they had koi and pond goldfish. I was actually impressed with this area. They have a nice variety of koi and goldfish and their prices...<br />

I&#039;ve gotten 2 batches of fish in the mail and both arrived in perfect health, have settled in well and remained healthy. All were trades from other fishkeepers met on forums. On the flip side, it seems when I get fish from the fish store they are often more likely to get ill and die shortly after bringing them home. Add in the cost of gas for the 30-40 minute trip and it&#039;s just not worth it for me anymore....<br />
