I have a heavily planted 20 Long with 2 German Blue Rams, 10 Cardinal Tetras and 2 juvenile discus. The tank has been in service for about 8 months. The water chemistry is spot on. My male German Blue has developed popeye in one eye. I have learned that I need to treat him with an anti-bacterial. Because it will be VERY difficult to remove him (due to all the plants, stones and driftwood) and put him in a hospital tank, my question is, "Can I treat the entire tank with all the other fish...

The addition of Co2 made a huge difference!

With a planted aquarium that is very large and with lots of gallons of water, the addition of a good carbon dioxide unit made a lot of difference with the health and the growth of my plants. Without the CO2, they don't seem to thrive very well. You can use some of the liquid additives like the stuff from Seachem's but I don't think there is any substitute for a good CO2 unit. You can even DIY a CO2 effuser in the aquarium and your plants will love...
At first she was jumping up on the stand and was whining, so I pulled out the step stool and she climbed up on it to look in the tank. All of a sudden, Dyson (our biggest pleco) came up to the front glass where Cookie was and the stare off began. They both just stared at each other for at least an 1/2 hour.
